This pic was rendered on a P133 / 32MB in Imagine 4.0 and took a staggering 85 HOURS to render! (even with the antialiasing set rather low) All of the objects were created from scratch and use only Imagine's procedural textures. No brush maps. Most of the objects were created simply by spinning a crossection outline, although the candle holders were done in the forms editor, the meat and gravy in the spline editor, and the mashed potatoes used metaballs. The candleflames are a combination of multiple fakely and mtntop textures, and if you are interested, there is a tutorial on my site on how to do it as well as the whole candle object for download.
The scene was lit by 4 soft shadow lights, 1 key light, 1 fill light, and the 2 candleflames.(I think that soft shadow lights give a much more "natural" look. Pity they take forever to render)
I would have liked to add some more details (eg. a window and other
stuff), but 85 hours rendering time for a single pic was enough for me.
